How cute this is! Looks like the bird is coming right out of the blog to join us. Love your header too!

  2. Ha!! I love how his little feet are perched. Gorgeous bird! We've been seeing several blue birds and blue jays around the neighborhood.

  5. Blue jay? It looks a bit different from the ones around here. The breast is white rather than the tan/cream/brown. I'm quite fond of them.
And the butterflies are on my newly opened lilacs, too!!

  7. Kay - Thanks! I think he was looking for the babies that fell out of the tree. :(

Trish - I love the coloring of blue jays, but boy are they mean. They eat the robin eggs from the nests. Jerks!

Joy - Photoshop choice? Was that a theme for Wordless Wednesday? I rarely ever follow the actual WW sight. Just post when I feel like it.

Kathy - And I think I got his good side. ;)

    SuziQ - Thanks!

Andi - Pretty, but not the friendliest. See my comment to Trish.

Nan - Isn't it funny how birds differ across the country. The blue jays in Oregon don't look at all like this fellow. They have a lot more black in their caps. I'll have to get on Google and see what yours look like.

    Staci - Thanks. Me, too!

    1. Les - I'm sorry. I thought you photoshopped the bird, so the feet would look like they were out of the pic. I liked how you did that. Photoshop is so much fun! :)

    2. No worries. I can see how it looked like it might have been Photoshopped. The bird is actually sitting on our old fence that was painted a pale brown. Now that I look at it more closely, it does look like its feet are hanging over the white framing around the picture. Nope. This was completely untouched. :)
