Ha! Yes, that's a Christmas tree. Our friends are celebrating with all of their friends in RFLs next month. We had a great time! Beautiful weather and three days of snowshoeing. Now to brace ourselves for the heavy snow that's going to hit tonight/tomorrow. I would so love a snow day so I could stay home and read. I got a little bit in while we were in CO, but not as much as I thought I would. We were having too much fun.
Thanks, Kay. I have a lot more to share, but will wait to sort through them this weekend. We're supposed to get a huge snowstorm tonight/tomorrow, so maybe I'll have more time than I think. ;)
We've seen it in the early summer (Memorial Day Weekend) and now in winter. We're hoping to get out there for the fall colors in 2014. I can hardly wait!
It's such a beautiful state, isn't it JoAnn? Living as close as we do, we've been a few times. I've been to Colorado Springs, Denver, Telluride and Breckenridge. My husband and I have been to this home twice and now we're anxious to return in the fall (in 2014). There are lots of aspens, which will be delightful to photograph!
That is quite the view!! I hope you guys are having a wonderfully spectacular time. And is that a Christmas tree?! ;)

DeleteGorgeous! I could really enjoy reading in a room with a gorgeous tranquil view like that.
ReplyDeleteIt was a little difficult reading in that wonderful room, Diane. I kept getting distracted by the view and the birds at the feeders!
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt sure was! A perfect retreat to unwind after a crazy holiday season.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous view!!

DeleteSo, so beautiful! I've only been in Colorado once, but know I'll be back.

ReplyDeleteIt was, Staci! Our friends have a gorgeous home with an amazing view. We sat in the hot tub and gazed at all the stars in the sky.
