Day Four

We had a relaxing/lazy morning before deciding to go into town for lunch. We went back to Blue Toque and both ordered the potstickers. They were delicious!

We spent the rest of the afternoon prepping for our departure. We chatted with the folks from Edmonton in the site next to ours, and gave them our eggs and limes, in preparation for crossing the border back into the United States.

Drinks around the campfire with Lou & Shannon, but my hay fever was terrible and I eventually had to return to the RV.

Gorgeous moonrise over the mountain.

We really enjoyed this spot. The views of the mountains, and the path along the river, as well as the proximity to the town of Fernie made it a lovely stay. I hope we get a chance to go back!

  1. Beautiful photos! My son and I went to Canada in March and we loved it! I saw a few black squirells which I didn't even know existed! It also snowed which I loved because I'm from Ohio and have missed it since moving to Florida in the early 80's,

    1. Thanks, Vicki! We love Canada and hope to return to either Alberta or Vancouver Island again next year. It's such a beautiful country, filled with wonderful people. We got snow at the beginning of this trip when we were just north of Banff. Pretty, but not a lot of fun to drive in with an RV!

  2. I've never been to Canada. I have actually never been outside of the country. With the way things are going here in the US, anyplace else sounds pretty good at the moment.

    1. Canada is a great country! I was born there and moved to the States when I was five. It's pretty tempting to move back...

  3. I remember 2023 being one of the hottest summers. So dry & hot. I'm glad you came to Canada and hope you return. The moon there must have been awesome.
