Day Two - Canada Day!
We spent the afternoon at Island Lake Lodge with our friends, Lou & Shannon. Thank goodness we went with them in their large truck. I doubt our RV could have made it up the steep, 8km dirt road!
The views from the lodge were beautiful. It was a hot, sunny day and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. It would have been fun to hike down to the lake and maybe rent a canoe, but Shannon and I were in sandals.

DeleteI know I say this every time, but I love seeing the photos from your vacations and they always make me want to go on an RV trip. I am doing a 3-day road trip this weekend from Virginia to Texas and have been busy looking up wacky roadside attractions.

DeleteThat's a pretty big lodge ... we haven't been there but it seems a great place to visit. Next time we're near there ... Robert just got a truck so we can get up the dirt road now.
