Meh. It was a long, boring (and windy!) drive from Athol, Idaho to this spot along the Columbia River. The RV "park" served its purpose for an overnight, but it's not a destination spot. There was some road noise, but it wasn't terrible. There are plenty of trees and grass, and our site looked out over the marina and river. Pretty sunset.
I would love to be there. Two of my favorite things to do since I was a child is go camping and being at the water.
ReplyDeleteVicki, it wasn't the greatest spot. We've camped at so many places next to bodies of water and this was ok for an overnight, but I wouldn't return.
Delete90s is like melting to us but luckily you got to the river ... did anyone go in the river there? Seems like a a long drive. The Columbia is quite a river.
ReplyDeleteSusan, as I remember, it was terribly hot. I think there were a few motor boats out on the water, but overall it's not a spot I'd put on my return list.
