Deb, there wasn't a chill in the air on this walk and yesterday (a little over a week later) it was 84! But we did have some cooler temps a few days ago and even had some frost one morning. Mother Nature is always fickle in October!
Kelly, we don't get a lot of red leaves here. There are some sugar maples scattered about in our neighborhood, which is nice, but most of the other trees get yellow leaves instead. Still pretty, though.
Nan, it's crazy. Our grass is still very green and lush. The leaves are really beginning to fall now, though, so they'll be bare before we know it. Yes, it will be interesting to see how things change in the fall in Oregon. I can't wait!
