  3. Glad you liked So Far Gone. It's a bit of a doozy but the character of the grandfather is endearing and sort of funny. I have read The Rose Code ... but need to get to Hail Mary sometime before next year's movie. I did like The Martian.

  5. I just got So Far Gone from the library (on your recommendation) and now am afraid of not reading it before the due date! I'm struggling over whether to read two "commitment" books or just pick up what I want... sigh.

    1. JoAnn, if it helps, So Far Gone was a pretty quick read. If you don't get to it now, it might be a good one to squeeze in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
