I was pleased to see a list of characters at the beginning of this second installment of Emma Lion's journals. The first volume introduces an extensive cast of characters which made it somewhat challenging for this reader to keep track of all the relationships. I enjoyed volume two quite a bit better than the first, and I'm eager to reader more of this charming series.
I'm glad you enjoyed book 2 more than book 1. They're both so short, I've though they could have been combined into one volume. The character list will become a permanent fixture and continue to grow - very helpful until you get them all sorted out!

DeleteI've only found the audiobooks of Emma M. Lion...until this week, when I saw all of the books at an independent bookstore. I wish they were available at the library.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I've heard the audiobooks are very good. I may try them if I ever decide to re-read the series. I'm lucky that my mom has loaned me her set of volumes 1-8. I'm surprised they aren't available through the library system.
