A Moment of Silence
My heart breaks for all the families and friends of those who died so tragically at Virginia Tech University on Monday, April 16th. Blogging about books seems a bit trite right now. I'll be back next week.
My students have been coming up to me all week and apologizing for Monday's terrible events. They truly feel that when one Korean is in error, all are responsible.
I'm glad you said this.

It is really terrible, isn't it. And just gets more awful the more we hear about it. Such a senseless, tragic loss of life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Post Les. Words really can't express it.
ReplyDeletePerfect. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteamen, Les. Nice picture that expresses a lot...
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting that beautiful photograph. I keep coming back to look at it because it expresses my feelings more than words ever could.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is so profound for this moment in time. Very, very sad.
ReplyDeleteI feel exactly the same. I hope you had a good walk, dear friend. I wish we could share a quiet cup of tea together.
