A Moment of Silence

My heart breaks for all the families and friends of those who died so tragically at Virginia Tech University on Monday, April 16th. Blogging about books seems a bit trite right now. I'll be back next week.

  1. I'm glad you said this.

My students have been coming up to me all week and apologizing for Monday's terrible events. They truly feel that when one Korean is in error, all are responsible.

  2. It is really terrible, isn't it. And just gets more awful the more we hear about it. Such a senseless, tragic loss of life.
