Inspiration of the Day

This video never ceases to bring a smile to my face. I think it's because in this day and age of war, famine, floods, earthquakes, typhoons, tornadoes, fires and every other unimaginable disaster, accompanied by overwhelming sadness and despair, I love to see the children laugh and smile. I could watch it every morning with my cup of coffee. Thanks, Matt!

  3. So glad that you enjoy this video as much as I do! One can't really offer something that didn't belong to them.... but glad to have you shamelessly steal from me as I did from others before ;-) I'm sure the Matt dude would be happy.

  4. Okay, yeah, apparently my sister has driven me to the point that I need therapy because it made me cry. I loved his lecture and laughed a lot, though! Thanks for posting the links! And, the video. Someday I'll laugh when I see it. Anything sets me off, right now. :)

  5. Robin - I love the music as much as the video. I've gotten in the habit of opening the video clip and moving over to my email, listening as I read. I need to buy an MP3 for my iPod.

I can't get enough of it, either!

Joy - You're welcome. I was certain everyone has already seen it, but apparently not. It brings a smile to my face (and, I must admit, tears to my eyes), too.

Tasses - I am SO glad I discovered it via your blog. And, I never would have seen it if you hadn't commented on my blog the other day.

I think Matt must be an interesting guy to talk to, don't you. I'm sure he's seen some amazing things in all his travels.

Bookfool - Well, I didn't mention it in my original post, but it makes me tear up, too. I think it's a combination of the music and the visuals. Very moving, to say the least. There are two more You Tube videos of his lecture. I only included Part One. I plan to watch the others later. He is funny, isn't he?!

  6. He is funny; he's got a great sense of humor. Yeah, I'd say the combination is pretty moving. But, I was a mess, last week! I'm better, now that I've talked to my sister and cleared the air a bit. When I have a bit more time, I'll look up parts two and three of his lecture.

Lesley, thanks so much for letting us know about this video. It's pure joy! And for some reason, it makes me cry every time I watch it. It's just wonderful.

  11. Indigo - I agree. Every time someone leaves a comment here, I have to go back and watch/listen to the video all over again. I understand how it can make you cry. It's quite touching, not to mention how beautiful the music sounds!
