A Month in Review - October ('08)

Well, I've had better months, but at least October ended with a couple of winners. The first two in the list might have actually been good. I just wasn't patient enough to stick with either of them.

Where the River Ends by Charles Martin (DNF)

Home and Away: More Tales From a Heritage Farm by Anny Scoones (3/5)

The Madonnas of Leningrad by Debra Dean (4/5)

  1. Oh, 2 DNFs in one month! Horrors. I wonder if I had any DNFs -- never bother to record them because I often return to books I give up on, knowing I'm a moody reader.

  2. Bookfool - Yeah, it was kind of a dud of a month, at least at the beginning. I should've expected it though, and might have done better just re-reading a favorite or two.
