She frowned. Blomkvist's strange behaviour in the courtroom had presented a challenge, and Salander did not like aborting an assignment once she had started. People always have secrets. It's just a matter of finding out what they are. (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson)
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Your teaser looks interesting! I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI've got a couple of good teasers this week. Here's a link.

Great teaser! Steig Larsson is a name that keeps popping up in my life, and I'm only going to be able to hold out so long before I read something...

Great teaser! Definitely makes you wonder what's going on, and why the 'assignment' is getting troublesome.
ReplyDeleteCheck out mine here.
I'm really curious about this book, I'm interested to hear what you think of it! I might have to check it out. Great teaser! Here's mine.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read this book! Great teaser!
ReplyDeleteLove that teaser. I almost bought this book a few weeks ago!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks everyone. It was great to get so many comments. Gee, and I thought I was supposed to post book reviews. Don't worry. I'll get 'em. Just need to finish a book. It's been a slow summer. I do have one that I'll review in the next few days. Unfortunately, it was a DNF. But I still want to chat about it.
ReplyDeleteMK - So have you started the book? What do you think? It took me a while to get interested, but now I'm hooked. Speaking of which, time to go read!
