Sun, sun, sun...

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it’s all right

Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it’s all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it’s all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes…
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes…
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes…
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes…
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes…

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it’s all right
It’s all right

~George Harrison

  1. You won't be surprised to know that Mrs Bale mentioned this song three years ago:

Sadly, sadly all my old posts in which I used Radio Blog Club do not play anymore. :<(

  3. Nan - I do remember that! What a shame your links to Radio Blog don't play anymore. Gosh, I love this song. I've been singing it all evening.

Staci - It was sunny here today. And windy. It's always windy in Nebraska!

  4. Would you believe the first wedding I was ever a bridesmaid in, this is the song we walked in to? Much as I love the song, it seemed odd but not when you compare it to the fact that one of the songs that was sung (in a Catholic church, no less) was John Lennon's "Imagine!"

  5. I can imagine after the winter you have had, the sun and warmth is extra appreciated! We had sun and temps close to 70 today in Seattle. Rain returns tomorrow and remains through the middle of next week. ;/

  6. Lisa - I love the song, too, but yeah, it isn't quite your traditional wedding march, is it? ;)

Kim - The sun is shining again today (after some rain yesterday) and we're heading out to the dog run with Miss Annie Dog. We are ready to bid farewell to winter! Our final freeze date isn't for another 6 weeks, but I'm hopeful we won't see anymore snow or ice for at least another 9 months! I'm glad your weather has been so nice!
