Bloggy Break
I'm going to take a short break from blogging. My husband had an emergency appendectomy on Friday night and was finally discharged from the hospital this afternoon. While the appendix didn't rupture, it came very close, resulting in a series of IV antibiotics, pain meds and a much longer recovery than normal. He's no longer in excruciating pain, but he's worn out and quite happy to have me wait on him. :)
I have several reviews to write and will start posting them later next weekend. But now it's time for a nap!

ReplyDeleteHope he feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteAw both of you take good care. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope he recovers quickly! Be sure to take care of yourself while you're taking care of him. :)
ReplyDeletePoor Rod! Hope he feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. Hope he gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a speedy recovery, glad he is okay. Enjoy your nap, and look forward to reading your blog when you return.
ReplyDeleteNow that the pain and anxiety are over he can look at this as a grand opportunity to read all day. You will be too busy waiting on him to read, so make him blog for you.
ReplyDeleteI hope he recovers quickly and easily.

ReplyDeleteDear Lesley,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he's out of danger, but sad to hear this trouble. Perhaps you could read to him a bit? Blessings on you both, I'm thinking of you!

ReplyDeleteGood to see you both, Mary & Robin!
Sassy - YIKES! That was your mystery ailment, eh? Rod's bothered him on and off for over a week. Hope yours doesn't flare up again. Did they do a CT-scan??
