  1. Great shots - my favorite is the bottom one - it really looks ominous.

  2. I love your photographs, Lesley.

We went kayaking a few days ago, as my parents are considering buying me a kayak for my 50th. I thought of you and your blue one, and wished I had your advice! Personally, I'm leaning toward upgrading my bicycle if I want new equipment. I think I'd ride it more than I'd be in the water.

Just some random thoughts on your sky photo post. As long as I was here, I wanted to share. ;)

  4. Gorgeous! I'm terrified of big storms (side effect of growing up in tornado-addled Texas), but the clouds sure are pretty.

  8. Absolutely beautiful, Les. The clouds may be announcing an oncoming storm, but it looks like you could just sink softly into #4.

  10. Kathy - It does look pretty scary, doesn't it?! No tornado, though! :)

Bellezza - I love your comments. :) Thank you!

You know, I only got my kayak out on a lake ONCE last summer! And I doubt I'll use it this summer because it's TOO FREAKING HOT! I'd go for a new bike, myself. Not that I've ridden much this year either. Sigh.

Staci - Thanks. I'll post more next week.

Allie - Thanks. It was pretty intense once the lightning started up.

    Andi - I'm terrified, too! So's Annie-Dog.

Pam - You didn't see all the shots that wound up in the trash bin. ;) And, you shoot gorgeous food and wine pictures. Not me!

Nan - Thanks. Me, too. :)

  11. Iliana - Thanks. I was so impressed that I dragged Annie-Dog back to the house so I could get my camera. She was not pleased. ;)

Marcia - Thank you for your nice words. Wouldn't it be awesome to be in a plane flying right above those clouds?

Melissa - Thank you. I only wish they would've produced a little bit of rain.

  13. SuziQ - We see a lot of cloud formations like these during spring/summer. One of these days, I'll have to take a drive out on one of the country roads and shoot some pics. We live in an old neighborhood with lots of established (LARGE!) trees, which make it a bit difficult to photograph the sky/clouds.
