Les, what great pictures of you two. So cute and that applies to your new vehicle too! Congrats!

  2. Woo hoo! I hope you love it!

  3. It's wonderful! Distinguished and handsome like the man behind you. ;)

I'll still be driving my little red bug. Probably for the next 4,000 years. It's easier to park in our crazy town!

    XOXO

p.s. I'm sad to see Nan go, but I understand she's said all she wants to say. I met her through you, and I thank you for that.

  4. Congrats on the new car. I have a 2000 Forrester and I love it. I think I'll drive it forever.

  5. Cuuuute! Does this mean the Mini Cooper is no more?

  6. Go, Les, Go! (Within the speed limit, of course)

  7. Fabulous vehicle, they are great cars. (My son has a 2008 Forester and loves it).

  9. Kay - I love this picture of me and my hubby. Oh, and my car, too! :)

    Kathy - I do, I do!!

Bellezza - I'd be driving my little red mini for the next 4,000 years, too, if my distinguished and handsome husband was so desperately in need of a reliable vehicle!

I'm sad to see Nan go, too, but I understand. I'm toying with the idea myself...

Melanie - I keep hearing the same from other Subaru owners. Good to know!!

Andi - Thanks! Nope, Rod is now the proud owner of the Mini. He loves the heated seats, A/C, heater, stereo and water-tight windows. :)

Joy - Oh, I always drive within the speed limit. Got a ticket a few years ago and sat through two nights of a S.T.O.P. class. Never again!

Diane - So good to know that other Forester owners love them after owning them for a few years. They sure have a loyal following.

Teddy Rose - I'm enjoying the automatic transmission after having driven a stick for most of my life! Fun, fun!!

  11. Staci - Thanks! I can't wait for the first snow storm. (Did I really just say that??!!)

  12. Toying with it really? Gasp...although, I know what you mean. Sometimes, it all gets a little overwhelming. I'm not sure if that's the right word...maybe one just does run out of things to say. I'm still in for awhile, myself, as I enjoy posting photographs, thoughts, personal reviews and lists. I'm done with accepting requested reviews, though. It's seriously cut into what I want to read.

You'll let me know if you decide to quit, right? We'd find another way to talk, right?

  13. Bellezza - Oh, I always start to feel this way when I find I'm too busy to post reviews or visit my favorite blogs. But I'm catching up today and feeling better about my blog, so we'll see. I've had to cut back on some of the blogs I visit, but I will always read yours no matter what! And, should I ever decide to stop blogging, you and I will always stay in touch. That's a given. I still want to fly out to Chicago one of these days and spend some time with you! Maybe next spring??

Hope you are having fun zooming around in it.

  15. Wow! That's so great. What happened to the mini?? The Subaru is my daughter's dream.

  16. Iliana - Aw, thanks. ;) Yep, it's lots of fun. Doesn't zoom quite like the Mini, but it's still a fun ride.

Nan - Rod has the Mini. We gave up the VW. No time to work on it anymore and it needed a lot of work.

I hope your kiddo gets to own one someday!
