  3. Love it. That looks like my house, except replace the doggie with a fat cat.

You most loved roommates, I presume. Nice shots of your handsome husband and beautiful Annie.

  6. Our dog looks forward to her meals too, but she jumps around when we're trying to get it ready.

  8. Diane - Oh, yes. She always gets "leftovers" from Rod's plate. And she's a very patient begger. ;)

JoAnn - Oh, she's got him wrapped around her paw! He never eats everything. Always saves her some scraps.

Pam - I was looking at photos from when we first got Annie dog. I'd say she's gained at least 10-12 lbs. in the past 4 years...

Kailana - Isn't that the truth!

Kay - Yes, they are! And they're two of the most quiet roommates I've ever had.

Kathy - Annie is quite mild-mannered until she discovers Rod has eggs to share. As soon as she realizes he's finished eating, she starts to get excited. She'll bark (which she never does any other time -- unless she sees a cat!) and start to pace back and forth around his chair. She never jumps, but she's pretty anxious to be fed.

Wendy - Aren't they expressive? I love it when she tilts her head and lifts her ears in anticipation.

SuziQ - Thanks. They're great pals.

Nan - I love these pictures, too. Annie loves her people and they love her.

  13. Thanks for your comment on my blog and I agree - your Annie could be my Ben's sister. Ben died quite a while ago now, but he has a special place in my heart! He was a border collie crossed with a black labrador, but much smaller than either breed. He was very loving too.

  14. Margaret - I'll bet Ben was a real sweetheart. Annie is quite small, too, although from these two photos, she's looks a bit, shall we say, wide? ;) Thanks for stopping by.

  15. yes, Ben got a bit 'wide' too as he got older! He had diabetes and all sorts of funny things wrong with him, but he was so good about it.
