Thanks so much. There are dozens of these "artistic" bikes all over Lincoln. Our goal (for next summer's visit) is to get a photograph of every single one.
Oh no--I don't think she's spoiled at all. ;) I'm sure it will be (or was) tough to say goodbye to your granddaughter--it looks like you guys had such a blast together. I've always been so sad that I don't live closer to my grandma but I do know that when we are together it makes that time so much sweeter.
Only spoiled in a good way. :) Yes, it was really hard to say goodbye... We talk every weekend, but I'm looking forward to when she is able to start sending emails and texts, too. And I can't wait for next summer's visit. We already have a list started of the things we want to do. :)
Where does your grandma live? Do you have a four-generation photo with her and the babe?
We did!!! I love that stack, too. I've already read the first and it was a winner. Fun to be in a book club with someone who enjoys reading, as she does. And it will be a huge help for me this holiday season when I have parents and grandparents asking for book recommendations for Christmas presents. I can always hand sell my favorites to adults, but coming up with books for young readers is quite a challenge.
Great photos! Your granddaughter is gorgeous! I've never seen a butterfly that color!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy. She looks a lot like her mama.
DeleteI'd never seen a butterfly that color, either! We were at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. They have a great butterfly pavillion.
Beautiful pictures and I love the bikes!!

DeleteWhat a wonderful, wonderful time you have expressed in photographs.
ReplyDeleteIt was truly one of the best two weeks of my life. We had an amazing amount of fun together!
DeleteLove these snapshots of your summer, of your life. They capture such joy that they make me feel joyful.
ReplyDeleteAs I said to Nan, it was one of the best two weeks of my life. We are blessed.
