It's all luck, Debbie! I shot so many photos and finally narrowed it down to these few. Very tight cropping to get these "close-ups," too. We were across the road and quite a distance from the trees. But what an amazing time to see the baby eagle, as well as the returning parent. And to hear the two adults "talking" to each other was unreal!
What majestic creatures! Do you live in or near Sequim? Have you read The Boys in the Boat? If not, you must!!
ReplyDeleteNo, Kathy. We were visiting family who live in Kingston (across the sound from Seattle). I haven't read The Boys in the Boat, but I plan to. Thanks!
DeleteWow very nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam! I was in awe of those birds and kept wishing I had a more powerful lens.
DeleteI'm impressed with your photography skills. Birds are difficult for me to photograph. You have done an amazing job, Les.

DeleteLove these pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Iliana. I'm quite pleased with them myself. ;)
DeleteSuch wonderful captures:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane. I was thrilled to see these beautiful birds. It was so cool to hear them "talking" to each other, too.
