I tried to write something about this wonderful man, my stepfather, but my heart is heavy and words fail me. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and I was fortunate to be with him in his final days. Rest in peace, Papa Bill. I love you.

DeleteThanks for your very kind words. My heart is sad, too, but it gets better with every new day. I know we'll get through this, but I still miss him terribly. Going out to Oregon for Christmas felt so strange. I will always think of that beautiful home as "Mom and Bill's." Hard not to have him greet me at the door... or hug me goodbye...
I am so sorry. I can imagine how difficult this time might be-
ReplyDeleteThank you.
