I've never been a fan of gazing out the window while flying, but now that I can take photos, I can't wait to get up in the sky! We had such clear weather when we flew to Oregon in December and I wound up taking dozens of photos. Wish I knew where we were for all of them. These were all shot with my phone and I plan to use my real camera next time around.

Fog!
Looks like snow, but it's actually fog.

I am petrified of heights yet love looking out plane windows. These are fun photos!
ReplyDeleteI've discovered that if I look out the window (when I can see the ground and not just the clouds) I don't feel nearly as anxious about flying. Heading back out in 6 weeks, so I'm hoping for clear skies!
ReplyDeleteI hate, hate to fly - the only way I can get through it is to sleep or to spend a lot of time looking out the window. Things just look so different and amazing from that far up.
ReplyDeleteI used to hate flying, but I've done it so much over the past decade or so that I've gotten used to all the scary noises and bumps. Now, the near misses on the runway still scare the crap out of me! ;)
DeleteGreat pictures!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kailana. It was a rare day with pretty much perfectly clear skies.
DeleteThose are pretty amazing Les.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane. I was happy to get a window seat and have such beautiful weather.
DeleteI love flying over the mountains--especially when they're snow capping them. And yay Southwest! I'm so excited about their new nonstop flights out of Love by the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteSouthwest really does rock, don't they? I'm heading back to Oregon in April and May and was going to fly SW, but discovered faster (and a tiny bit cheaper) flights via Frontier. SW is usually my 1st choice, though.
