I'm not a fan of heights, either, and flying used to make me terribly nervous. Now that we're allowed to use our phones (in airplane mode) during take off and landing, I distract myself by taking lots of photos. This particular trip was perfect. Hardly a cloud anywhere, so I could see a lot even up that high.
I am terrified of heights but love to look out plane windows like that. Go figure.
