  1. Wondering what you thought about Girl on the Train? I liked it, but didn't love it.

    1. I liked it a lot, Diane. I want to say I loved it, and I did, but it's not something I'll read again. I'll probably give it a 4.5 or 4.75. Better than Gone Girl!

  2. I really liked The Silkworm! The Girl on the Train seems to be the hot book of the year so far, and I'm glad you liked it so much.

    1. I'm so enjoying Robert Galbraith's series and can't wait for the 3rd to come out. Wonder when that will be... Yep, The Girl on the Train is the Gone Girl of 2015. Really, really liked it!

    1. It was quite a good month, Kailana. I'm working at trying to find more time during my day to read. I've got 5 (five!!) books going right now. That is so not me, but it just happened this way, for some reason. Yes, Girl on the Train is definitely popular!

  4. A very good month, indeed. I just put my name on the library hold list for an ebook of The Girl on the Train. Wonder how long I'll have to wait...

    1. I can't wait to hear what you think of The Girl on the Train, Andi. I wonder if it's going to be like Gone Girl. Those who love it and those who hate it. It has lots of twists and turns, but I think it's a better thriller than Gone Girl.

  6. I only read four books in January, too. Usually I do much better, but this year we've had less Snow Days (!) and my parents have stayed home from Florida where they usually vacation. (That means more time with my mother, less time reading, but I try to grab every minute while I can.)

I so love The Long Winter. Looking for Me was lovely as well.

But, I'm afraid of trying The Girl on The Train, as Gone Girl (to which it's often compared) really let me down.

    1. More time with your mother is always a good thing, right? We'll always have time to read...

I loved The Long Winter, too. I'm in the middle of composing my review. Should have it posted by the weekend.

I think you might enjoy The Girl on the Train. I think it's much better than Gone Girl and I wasn't disappointed with the ending. Couldn't hurt to at least try. :)
