  1. I've heard those river cruises are fabulous! That airline seat looks wonderful too - that's not coach is it? I'm so glad you had such a great trip!

    1. It was the BEST trip ever! I would love to go on another river cruise someday. And, no, my seat was in Business Class. Felt more like First Class (which Austrian Airlines doesn't have). I could recline 180 degrees and sleep on my back or stomach. The food was amazing on that flight, too. I flew home on United in their Business Class section and it doesn't compare to Austrian Airlines. Nice, very nice, but not as good.

    1. It really was an amazing trip. I went with my 82-year-old mother and I think she had just as good of a time as I did. Lots of beautiful, old villages!

    1. JoAnn, it was such a treat to fly in Business Class. My sweet daughter sent me the money for the upgrade! I sure enjoyed it! :)

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing them here. I thought you might. :) I'll probably post more on each Wednesday for the next few weeks. And thanks for the nice words about my header. It's one of my favorites. I loved that village and my entire day there.

  5. I loved seeing your photographs on Facebook as I chanced upon them, not often on social sites as a rule, but I'm glad you posted them together here. Plus, your header is gorgeous! I am so lonesome for Europe, so hungry to see it again, and yet the recent terror in Paris makes me doubt I'll ever get there again. The climate is so different now, from the times that I lived there. I'm so very glad that you and your mother are safe, that nothing happened while you were there.

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the pictures here, too. Oh, that village (in my header) was so charming and I enjoyed every minute we were there. I must've walked over 10 miles that day!

Yes, I wonder if I'll ever go to Europe again. I'm so glad we were home, safe and sound, before any of this awful terror broke out. I still so want to see Italy and France, but...

    1. Aw, thank you, Iliana. As I recall, you have traveled to Germany, right? It's such a beautiful country. Our trip exceeded all expectations and I feel a little homesick for it.
