Inexpensive wine that tastes great!
Beautiful sunrises that make
my early commute more tolerable.
My beautiful tree-lined neighborhood
and that gorgeous sunrise.
This girl who knows just
how to spend her Saturday mornings.
Bike rides on a
wind-free day in Nebraska!
Cool neighborhood yard art!
An extra hour in my day,
thanks to Daylight Savings Time.
Short commutes and beautiful skies.
The beauty of spring blossoms.
Neighborhood trees in full bloom.
Tulips in my garden that, for once,
the squirrels and rabbits ignored.
This sky.
That cloud!
Friday afternoons and this view from a stoplight.
Soaking rains and double rainbows.
and most of all, these two.
Happy Sunday, friends!

I am jealous of your spring! We haven't quite got that far!
ReplyDeleteThis post just put a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteI think we live in a pretty cool neighborhood but we don't have any yard art like that! Thanks for the reminder to be grateful.
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Les!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely array of photos Les. I have "Be Frank With Me" on my TBR soon list. I loved Miller's Valley and Find the Good.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful post, both the words and pictures. Is that goutweed under the tullips? The scourge of my gardening life.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the beauty that is Nebraska in the spring!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for the delay! We had a huge garage sale on Saturday and the weeks leading up to it were very busy, sorting through closets, clearing out some junk in the basement and pricing everything. It was a great success and not only did we make quite a bit of money, we now have a fairly organized & tidy home & garage. Now to go through everything one more time, just to see if we missed anything we can live without. That will get donated to a charity.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments. Yes, spring has sprung, although we had a terrible storm the other night. Lots of hail and rain. We got over 5 inches of rain, plus another inch this morning.
Diane, I hope you enjoy Be Frank With Me. I laughed so much at Frank's non sequiturs!
Nan, that isn't goutweed (which we do have a bit of in the backyard). I can't remember what it's called. It has pretty little purple flowers and is a shade perennial.
