A beautiful walk. Is there a fall chill in the air?https://readerbuzz.blogspot.com/2016/10/too-much-rock-hunting-in-new-mexico.html
Deb, there wasn't a chill in the air on this walk and yesterday (a little over a week later) it was 84! But we did have some cooler temps a few days ago and even had some frost one morning. Mother Nature is always fickle in October!
What a lovely place to walk!
Kathy, it's a great trail for walking or biking. It goes for miles and miles!
It is a lot redder here! Fall is in full swing.
Kelly, we don't get a lot of red leaves here. There are some sugar maples scattered about in our neighborhood, which is nice, but most of the other trees get yellow leaves instead. Still pretty, though.
Signs of season's change
Colleen, the season is a bit confused around here. 84 yesterday, after some morning frost a few days ago!
Amazing for me to see so much green. It will be so interesting for you to compare your coming home with this one in terms of the seasonal changes.
Nan, it's crazy. Our grass is still very green and lush. The leaves are really beginning to fall now, though, so they'll be bare before we know it. Yes, it will be interesting to see how things change in the fall in Oregon. I can't wait!
Beautiful fall day!
Iliana, this is definitely one of my favorite seasons! It goes far too quickly, though. :(
