Kathy, I was actually writing in my travel journal, but yes! It would be a great spot to read, although I'd probably be too distracted watching the kayaks and boats on the water.
Kay, yep! We were south of Coos Bay (in Brookings) last week and moved up here for another week. It's not very crowded in the park, so it's not only beautiful but very peaceful.
Juli, it was! Rod fished from the dock while I wrote in my travel journal, listening to the sound of the water lapping against the shore. I think I may just love lakes more than the ocean!
What a beautiful place to read.

DeleteI had to look on the map to see where this is. So, north of Coos Bay. Beautiful!!

DeleteAre there eels in it? :<(
ReplyDeleteNan, not that I'm aware of! Bass, trout, etc., but no eels. Ugh!!
DeleteWonderful place to journal!
ReplyDeleteIliana, it was, but I found myself getting too distracted! I could gaze out at the water for hours!
DeleteThis must have been taken in the afternoon as you did not have your ubiquitous coffee cup in the shot!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
- Lisa
Ah! I forgot the coffee shot! ;) It was in the afternoon. I'll have to work on that, Lisa. Thanks!
DeleteI'm more relaxed just looking at the photos!
ReplyDeleteCandace, it's been very relaxing, but now that the weekenders have arrived, it's getting a little too crowded and a little too noisy. Time to move on.
