Nature & Books belong to the eyes that see them.
I'm not sure why it's taken me five decades to learn there is not much that I have control over...but this is such a pertinent expression to my life. My father faces yet another angiogram this Wednesday; days are fragile now, and I feel that while trying not to be afraid. What does fear say about my faith? Not much, so I work on casting it aside. My love to you, Lesley, as we walk our paths which often coincide.
I am so sorry to hear about your father, Meredith! Yes, our paths often coincide, but I do hope you have many more years with your dad. I'm sending you love and good thoughts in the coming days, dear, dear friend. xoxo
This is one of my favorite quotes!
It was in my fortune cookie the other night. :)
So simple, and so true. Thank you for the reminder!
Laurel, it came to me (in a fortune cookie!) at a time when I needed it the most.
I love it!!! :-)))
Me, too. I don't usually get relevant fortune cookies! Merry Christmas to you and safe travels.
