  2. I was devastated when I saw she had passed away. I had to leave right away to pick up my husband from work and I don't even remember that drive, I was in such shock.

    1. Jen, I don't think I've felt such a sense of heartbreak since the 2016 election.

  3. We are devastated, too. We are in serious need of some good news come Election Day.

  4. I guess I hoped she would go on forever. She seemed invincible, and she very nearly was.

  5. Losing her now ... is a terrible blow. And it seems we can't honor her appropriately ... without drumbeats from the current admin ... which feels ill ...

    1. Susan, I keep thinking that life in the U.S. can't get any worse, but every day there's another story and another blow to our democracy.

  6. OMG, so sad I loved her smarts and spunk. We knew she was very sick but, why now? I can't take much more sad/bad news these days.

    1. Diane, I'm so sad about her passing and that she fought so long to be around until after the election. My heart goes out to her family.

I know how you feel about the constant flow of bad news these days...

    1. Iliana, I am too. Even more so now that there's a nomination for a new justice. :(
