Canada Road Trip (Summer 2023)

Day Four - Summer Solstice
The rain returned, so we spent the morning inside catching up on various projects. Once the sun came out, I decided to go for a long walk around the campground. There are lots of sites nestled in the woods, with much more privacy than our loop. We'll keep that in mind for another visit since we don't always need full hookups. It was such a beautiful afternoon and we didn't do much of anything. Just soaked up the sun, enjoying the first day of summer.
Note: When I composed this post, the Jasper National Park fire was still active. We are heartbroken for the residents, businesses and staff who call Jasper their home. This year's fire was such a terrible loss to one of Canada's beautiful national parks.

DeleteI'm enjoying your trip photos too. We have been to Jasper only once many years ago. It's a treasure. We've been to Banff and Louise much much more, and especially like the off-season.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. Glad you're enjoying all of these photos! :) I'll bet Banff is much nicer in the off-season. It (and Lake Louise) felt pretty crowded and touristy when we were there.
