My Original Thoughts (2002):
This is a fantastic YA novel. Almost as good as Lois Lowry's gem, The Giver. Beautiful passages. Couldn't put it down. Borrowed a copy, but need to buy my own.
My Current Thoughts:
Not my usual genre, but I remember enjoying this book quite well. I think I recommended it to a lot of parents while working at Barnes & Noble.
Maybe my granddaughter would like this one. Wish I could have been your intern at Barnes and Noble, I love that store! Do you ever miss working there?
ReplyDeleteTina, I'll bet your granddaughter would enjoy this book! As far as missing my job at B&N, yes I do, although I love retirement life. I suppose in a perfect world I could work at B&N twice a week, putting out all the new books on Tuesdays and shelving on the other day. My least favorite part was having to stand behind the counter waiting on customers. I like people, but I prefer to work with books! :)
