  3. She's a beautiful girl. I used to laugh at my mom when she'd say things like "Where has the time gone." Now that my son is 23 and my daughter will be 15 soon, I no longer laugh. I really don't understand where it went.

I hope you are enjoying your new Christmas book by Bess Streeter Aldrich. I love the wholesome old fashionedness of the stories. I am reading one a night or every other night too!
    Happy Thursday to you--

  11. Thanks, everyone. She has grown up to be such a beautiful young woman. And, yes, the years have flown by.

Kim - I've just started the book. I enjoyed the first story and am just beginning the second. So far, so good!

    Nan - I believe he's "just a friend." :)

Heather - 25 was one of my favorite years, too. It was the year my husband and I started dating. It only got better with every year after that! :)

Stephanie - Yours will be 25 before you know it, too!!

  12. I'm not sure where my comment went: perhaps it's still in my mind? I wanted to say how beautiful your lovely daughter is (like her mother!). She has a lovely glow which seems to reflect an inner spirit of strength and grace.

  13. Bellezza - Sometimes mine disappear, too. I think it's when I type the word verification, but don't stick around to see if it actually worked. I need to be more patient. :)

Thank you for your sweet comment about Amy. That photo really does show a beautiful glow, doesn't it?
