  1. It's beautiful, but I'm glad I'm not there!

    1. It was absolutely breathtaking. Literally and figuratively. ;)

  2. I want snowshoes! All I had are my UGG boots, and not the kind that all the models wear. ;) Still, it was so lovely to be outside in all that gorgeous snow! Who's your friend? Wish I was there with you...

    1. I want snowshoes, too! These were super cool and so easy to learn how to use. I wore my Merrill boots (which I got on sale for half that price!) with them and was good to go.

I wish you could have joined us! We went with our good friends who own a house here in Lincoln, as well as the one in the mountains. They go out there once a month for a week. They're firefighters and get a full week off every month. We've been with them twice and I'm anxious to go in the fall next time around. I want to see the Aspen trees in the golden glory!

  3. Awww so lovely. My son and wife has snowshoes as well and enjoy it. I prefer the indoors in winter.

    1. I don't mind being out in the snow if I'm dressed for it. And I don't have to dig my car out. Or scoop the snow off the driveway and sidewalks. Other than that, it's great. ;)

  4. Beautiful! I LOVE the snow, but say the same thing you said to Diane above. :)

    1. Yep. :) And we just had a decent sized storm here a week ago. Of course, now it's almost all melted. Typical spring weather in the midwest.
