Hello, Oregon!
Last week I was in Oregon helping my mom celebrate (belatedly) her 80th birthday. It was a wonderful trip and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my parents, as well as catching up with my three brothers and their families. Unfortunately, my husband (who rarely ever gets sick!) came down with a killer head cold and wound up staying home. We were all disappointed that he couldn't join us, but we managed to enjoy ourselves, in spite of his absence.

Happy birthday to your mother! Since I left goodreads, I've missed her writings about books, and her lists. I'm so happy she had her kids around her for the special day. She must be very happy where she lives. It looks so nice there.

What a bummer that Rod missed out on all the fun! So happy though, that you were able to have some precious family time.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bummer that he couldn't join us, but he did get to go on our recent trip to Seattle. He was in heaven, as he loves looking at boats!
