  3. They are such a favorite with the pollinators. Wonderful plant. So different from the bad thistle that spreads.

  4. Are you saying good-bye to Summer? ;) Things are terribly dry here in Illinois, and the Back-to-School feeling is roaring through my blood.

    1. Ha! I never got to say hello! Our temps were lower than I prefer during the summer months and I'm hoping September brings some that are at least in the 70s! It's dry here, too, but the rainy season isn't too far away. I'll bet you're feeling the Back-to-School mood. You've been retired two years now, though, right? ;)

  5. Vicki, it's such a lovely shade of purple. I just learned that it's a Blue Globe Thistle, which looks very similar to Allium.
