Biden has already assembled the COVID task force and it's looking good! Filled with scientists and doctors. Professionals. Very promising. I smiled so much on Saturday it hurt my face.
I don't think I realized *exactly* how stressed I was about the election until this call was made. What a relief! We spent the afternoon and evening with my husband's cousin in San Diego and everyone seemed so joyful! I just pray the transition goes as well as can be expected, given who's involved. And that the entire country comes to accept the outcome.
Like you I'm still stressed by the situation, but still I'm so thrilled we all know Biden/Harris won. The day it was announced was the Best Day of the past 4 years! I just hope it resolves so Biden can set to work. It makes me angry ... what's going on & the GOP.
Susan, it was the Best Day, wasn't it?! I'm glad to see more of the GOP agreeing that Biden won, but it's time tRump accept his loss and allow Biden to access to important information. I'm hoping tomorrow's tRump rally in D.C. isn't the beginning of violent days ahead. We have enough to worry about with the alarming increase in COVID numbers.
YAY!!! I love this poster.
ReplyDeleteSo do I, Iliana! You can get a free sticker from MoveOn.org.
DeleteFirst step in the right direction! It isn't going to be a smooth transition, but I'm so pleased we've made a start.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Jenclair! We knew it wouldn't be a smooth transition, but I'm thankful there isn't a lot of civil unrest at this point.
DeleteAmen! It will be great to have a team thats goal is to Unite NOT divide.
ReplyDeleteDiane, it's such a relief. I'm looking forward to boring news reports.
DeleteYes!! Amen.
ReplyDeleteSo much relief, JoAnn! As my little niece was singing the other day, "Hallelujah!"
DeleteWe'll see how much more Trump can damage democracy on his way out :(
ReplyDeleteSad but true, Stacy. Hopefully nothing that will put us in harms way from other nations!
DeleteSo relieved. Long road of healing ahead, but at least we're headed in the right direction now.
ReplyDeleteLaurel, I felt like I could hear a huge collective sigh across the country. Sadly, there are too many who feel this isn't a done deal.

ReplyDeleteTi, it is looking good, isn't it? I think I was beaming all day Saturday, too!
DeleteLove this, and love all the comments!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Nan. Me, too!

ReplyDeleteJen, I'm still feeling stressed and hope things go smoothly between now and January 20th. The current news is still unsettling!
