  2. First step in the right direction! It isn't going to be a smooth transition, but I'm so pleased we've made a start.

    1. Absolutely, Jenclair! We knew it wouldn't be a smooth transition, but I'm thankful there isn't a lot of civil unrest at this point.

    1. So much relief, JoAnn! As my little niece was singing the other day, "Hallelujah!"

    1. Sad but true, Stacy. Hopefully nothing that will put us in harms way from other nations!

    1. Laurel, I felt like I could hear a huge collective sigh across the country. Sadly, there are too many who feel this isn't a done deal.

  7. Biden has already assembled the COVID task force and it's looking good! Filled with scientists and doctors. Professionals. Very promising. I smiled so much on Saturday it hurt my face.

  9. I don't think I realized *exactly* how stressed I was about the election until this call was made. What a relief! We spent the afternoon and evening with my husband's cousin in San Diego and everyone seemed so joyful! I just pray the transition goes as well as can be expected, given who's involved. And that the entire country comes to accept the outcome.

    1. Jen, I'm still feeling stressed and hope things go smoothly between now and January 20th. The current news is still unsettling!

  10. Like you I'm still stressed by the situation, but still I'm so thrilled we all know Biden/Harris won. The day it was announced was the Best Day of the past 4 years! I just hope it resolves so Biden can set to work. It makes me angry ... what's going on & the GOP.

    1. Susan, it was the Best Day, wasn't it?! I'm glad to see more of the GOP agreeing that Biden won, but it's time tRump accept his loss and allow Biden to access to important information. I'm hoping tomorrow's tRump rally in D.C. isn't the beginning of violent days ahead. We have enough to worry about with the alarming increase in COVID numbers.
