Not-So-Wordless Wednesday

A cycling class followed by a cool-down (virtual) ride thru the Olympic National Park, fish tacos (take-out) from The Taphouse, a walk along the bluff (king tide with huge waves), and enjoying a drink with my loving family, with a warm fire blazing, made for a very nice birthday. Thanks for all the messages, calls, emails and cards. I feel very blessed.

 I love my Peloton!

Hard to take a picture while pedaling,
but these scenic rides are wonderful.

That's a ceiling light, not a UFO!

Delicious, in spite of the wimpy avocado.

Pictures just can't depict the enormity of these waves!

Cozy and warm.

And, yes! I got books!

    1. Happy belated birthday to you, Diane! I'm glad you had a nice day, too. Pandemic birthdays are a bit strange, aren't they?

    1. Kay, there are so many beautiful scenic rides on the Peloton. I may never get to Italy or France, but I can ride my bike there... virtually!

    1. Susan, it really is a great machine! I look forward to riding at least 5 days a week, even when the weather nice and I can get outside for my walks. Now those are more relaxed since the bike where I get my exercise. Today I rode through Rhône-Alpes France. It was gorgeous!

  4. Happy Birthday!! What a wonderful way to spend it. I love fish tacos and yes, they could have given you more avocado for goodness sake! That fire does look cozy.

I am currently making myself a breakfast sandwich and then waiting for it to get a little warmer so I can take the pup on our walk. It's 45 right now. Too cold for her (and me).

    1. Thanks, Ti. It was a good birthday! As far as those avocados, I guess they just didn't have any that were ripe. They usually put a lot more slices on those tacos. Brrr. 45 is chilly! Our temps have been in the upper 40s/lower 50s, but with all the rain, it's been too damp and cold to go walking this week.

    1. Thanks, Heather! The Peloton is wonderful. In addition to cycling, there are a lot of classes that you can take (using the app) for yoga, strength training, walking, meditation, etc. I was taking a lot of on-demand cycling classes, but now I'm enjoying the scenic routes (so I can listen to my audiobooks while riding). I hope you find space for one.
