    1. I loved the color of these, Deb. They changed shades every few days. (Disclaimer: These photos were taken at the end of May!)

  2. WOW, are they just blooming now - so lovely? For some reason this is the first year my 2 plants did not bloom -- they looked healthy too.

    1. Nope, I just put up a disclaimer. I took these pictures back in May and wanted to share them on my blog. :) I wonder why yours didn't bloom. I got these at a local grocery store and was amazed how beautiful they were as they continued to open up. The colors kept changing with each passing day.

    1. Ha! No. I should have written at the top of the post that these photos were taken in May. I just love them so much and wanted to be sure to have them on my blog. :)

  4. Those are gorgeous photos! I adore peonies. We grew several varieties in our gardens in Oregon, including tree peonies. I think we can grow them in north Florida, so I might give them a try!

    1. Thanks, Laurel. I love how delicate the petals get and how they continue to change color with each passing day. I haven't seen any growing in our neighborhood (I bought these at a grocery store!) and wonder if they don't do well on the coast.

    1. Thanks, Jenclair. I checked to see if we can grow them here in Oregon (on the coast), but it doesn't get cold enough for them to winter over. Oh, well.

    1. Thank you. I bought them at a local grocery store and was surprised that they lasted as long as they did.

    1. I think they may be my favorite flowers, Iliana. I wish they would grow where I live, but it doesn't get cold enough in the winter. Thankfully, they do grow in the valley, which isn't too far away.
