I wish we had been just a little bit closer to this black bear. He was on the other side of the lake and very difficult to see, even with my zoom lens.
Thanks, Susan. I wish he had been just a little bit closer... He was definitely eating something, but I'm not sure if there were any berries or just tasty leaves.
Oh, I love that black bear peeking out! It reminds me of the book Blueberries for Sal, which my mother read to me as a child. Do you know it? It’s quite a lovely little book.
Oh neat picture! You got a good shot of his nose & face. Was he eating berries on the bushes?

ReplyDeleteYes, I know the book, Meredith. I actually thought about it when I saw the bear pulling the shrubs down to eat whatever was on the branches. :)
