Missoula Daytrip
September 21, 2022
The weather was perfect for a daytrip to downtown Missoula, which was only ten miles from our campground. We started off with a delicious coffee and danish at Break Espresso. Good thing we don't live in Missoula or I'd go to this cafe EVERY day! I love the exposed brick and the comfortable environment. It's my kind of place.
Yum!!
Once our bellies were full, we wandered around town for a while. I love the artwork on the power boxes. So creative and beautiful.

Of course, we had to visit an independent bookstore, which had a great selection, in spite of its small size.
Vicki, we love seeing all the beautiful sights (mountains, lakes, rivers, etc.) on our trips, but it's also fun to explore a new town. We could live in Missoula! It's a great college town with lots of good shops and restaurants. We love small-ish towns with a bookstore and a great coffee shop. This one is worth a return visit!
ReplyDeleteYea. I liked Missoula too. Wow and the bakery and bookstore look really good too. I don't think we went to either but next time we will !
ReplyDeleteSusan, I'd go back to Missoula just for the bakery and bookstore! We've been known to return to towns from our travels just for the good food. ;)
DeleteDid you buy any books at this bookstore? I love visiting indie bookstores on travels. What a charming town.
ReplyDeleteIliana, if I remember correctly, I think I bought Remarkably Bright Creatures, but I'm not 100% sure. I know I bought something!
