Favorite Audiobooks of 2024

I listened to 13 audiobooks in 2024 for a total of 163 hours and 8 minutes. The following are my favorites, although to be honest, I don't remember much about The Golden Couple!

Left on Tenth by Delia Ephron (5/5)

Be Ready When Luck Happens by Ina Garten (4.5/5)

The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen (4.5/5)

The Wedding People by Alison Espach (4/5)

  1. Every time you post about Left on Tenth I get more excited to read it. I have a physical copy but assume I'll like it just as much.

  2. I've read three of your books here. The Wedding People was a surprise at the issues addressed. Not fluff as I had thought it might be and it makes me want to read more of her work.

    1. Tina, I was also surprised by the depth of The Wedding People. I'll be curious about what else you read of hers.

  3. I did read/listen combinations of both The Wedding People and Ina Garten's memoir and they both ended up on my favorites list. Hope to listen to Left on Tenth this year!

  5. This is good to know. I'd like to get The Wedding People on audio. I enjoyed the Delia Ephron book. Intense but also funny in parts.

    1. Yes, Ephron's book was intense, but infused with good humor. The Wedding People turned out to have much more substance than I imagined it would. I just started James (on audio) and have a feeling it will be a winner, too.

    1. Ti, it was and she does a fantastic job. It felt like I was sitting in her kitchen listening to her talk about her life.
