Okay, seriously, I would so love to be in the same room with you guys. By the way, is it just me, or do Rod and the kitty have a very similar expression on their faces? :)
How he has grown! And did you catch him in a yawn?? Great shots. I agree with Bellezza that Frankie and Rod have the same expressions. Wry. :<) Love the picture of you, and of course, I must know what you are reading. There is a studious look on your face, as if you are learning something from the book.
3M - I do, too. Most of the time. Not at 5:30 am, however.
Amelia - He is pretty darned cute -- when he's not attacking my ankles.
Danielle - Thanks. He's a sweetie most of the time.
Kookijar - I thought so, too. ;)
Janet - LOL! I'll try to post more again next month.
Nat - I'm glad Frankie's turned out to be such a good cuddler. He keeps me warm in the evenings. Not a good kitty when we go to bed, though. That's when he likes to play, so he gets thrown out of our bedroom after 10.
Carl - Thanks!
Bluestalking Reader - Ah, but didn't you hear the loud meow? ;)
SuziQ - And I'm sure he'd love you (and your ankles).
Bellezza - No, it's not just you. I thought the same thing! ;)
Bybee - I was wondering if anyone would notice that bookcase! It's one of my favorite antiques and full of my favorite books.
Lynn - Thanks. And, thanks for stopping by my blog.
Nan - Hard to believe, isn't it. We've had him for almost 5 weeks now. Yep, that's a yawn, although I thought it looked more like a lion's roar, myself. ;)
I think that's funny that you and Bellezza both see a similar expression on Rod & Frankie. My guys. Aren't they cute? :)
Let's see, I was reading The Baker's Apprentice. Probably not learning anything, but rather irritated by the disappointed story. ;)
I love the pictures!!! I love how Frankie stands to attention on Rod's shoulder in the first one - so cute! And so nice to see a picture of Rod, he's very handsome! :) I love the picture of you, too - wish I had such a fabulous couch to read on! And, look, there's a bookshelf...all those books make me drool! :)
Oh, what wonderful photos! I love seeing you with your book and your kitty and that's so cute the way your hubby is posed with Frankie!
Guess what? I got DSL!!!!!! It's not the fastest connection available but I can open your page! I can comment! I'm so excited. You're the first person I've visited because I so missed your blog. It's so great to be able to read your entries, again!
Lotus - Frankie loves to perch himself on top of our shoulders. I think he thinks he's a parrot! Yep, I have to agree with your comment about Rod. I think he's quite the handsome fellow, too. Even without a cat on his shoulder. I do love that couch on stretched out on. We've had it for almost 15 years and it is still very comfy.
Bookfool - Hey!!! You're posting!! I am so happy to see you back here visiting my blog. Dang-it, you've been missed. Whoohoo on the DSL! I'm quite flattered/touched that you stopped by my blog first. Welcome back, dear friend. :)
Oh my. What a cutie.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, love those photos!

ReplyDeleteI have been waiting for these - 3 cool cats.
ReplyDeleteFrankie's so adorable! Our Bailey's not much of a lap cat unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a good Wednesday! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's a sweet wordless story!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww . . . I LOVE Frankie!!!

ReplyDeleteCute cat, but gotta love the shot of the bookshelf in the background!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Sweet little kitten, handsome husband, and very comfortable looking you with a book and a kitten.

How precious! I wish my cat would sit on my shoulder like that. :-)
ReplyDeleteHard to believe it has been a year. Congratulations. And Frankie does add a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Dad
Literary Feline - It's nice until he starts to lose his balance and digs his claws into my back or arms!
ReplyDeleteDad - Hope you get to meet Frankie in person some day. I don't think we'll bring him on the boat this summer, however.
Hey Les!

I like the little story, and adore the little cat -
ReplyDeleteMy only question is: can I come over and pet him? I'll bring the tea!
Thanks for visiting my blog -

Melanie - Sure! Frankie loves to be petted. He's a pretty good kitty when he's not biting (playfully).
