COVID-19

As of September 22, 2020 there have been over 200,000 deaths in the United States. That's equivalent to a 9/11 attack every day for 67 days.

Unbelievable.

Heartbreaking.

Unforgivable.

  1. I agree. We should not be in this position. The other day HE said that "COVID affects NOBODY". I guess the 200K who died were nobodies to him. I remember in the early phase of the pandemic when NY had the bodies lined up, and what a visual that was and that was only maybe 25? I can't even imagine 200K.

  3. So sad (add 2,000 more now). Even sadder that in the eyes of his voters, he can do no wrong - pathetic.

    1. Diane, it makes me so angry. I just don't understand how anyone can believe anything he says. Ever.

  4. It just makes me so mad that we are in this position when it could have been so much different.

    1. Lisa, it really could've been so different in the hands of an actual leader. I fear for our country's future.

  5. Exactly. It's inexcusable, the toll. And it's inexcusable that anyone could still vote for this person. These were people, all he cares about is Wall Street numbers. and his reelection. God help us.

    1. Susan, I really think Biden has a strong chance of winning, but after Trump's comments yesterday, I'm worried that it won't matter and Trump will refuse to concede. God help us is right. I may need to look into my dual citizenship with Canada a little more seriously...

    1. Deb, it makes me very sad and very, very angry. All those lives lost and the heartbreak their loved ones are experiencing is so terribly wrong.

    1. I just read that our state's case count (in Oregon) is the highest since mid-July. Fortunately, the county in which I live, hasn't had more than 1 or 2 cases this past week. We continue to hunker down...
