All your ornaments are so sweet and I especially love the last one. I think that's perfect for all of us bookworms! :) Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!
Thanks, Deb. The drum and elf have been on my Christmas trees since I was a baby. My godmother gave them to me and while they're a bit faded, they are greatly treasured.
Laurel, it's always fun (and sometimes a little bit sad) to get the box of ornaments out each year. Lots of memories wrapped up in those decorations! We had a peaceful Christmas with a few calls (and Zoom) with family and friends. Hope yours was lovely, too.
I may have said this before, but I have the exact drum ornament! I guess we can now consider ourselves antiques, but there is a lovely freedom in being in my 50s. I’d rather have the wisdom I have now than what I thought I knew when I was thinner.😉 I wish you every blessing in 2021, Lesley, and I’m glad for our connection from reading to decorating. xoxo
Meredith, I think you've mentioned that you have the same drum ornament, but I'm not positive. What a coincidence, though! I think I got it around 1962, maybe? Yes, I guess we are antiques. :) Only one year remaining in my 50s and I'm ok with that. I'm looking forward to what my 60s bring. Happy 2021 to you too, my dear friend! xoxo
Love all these pics Les' Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane! I hope you had a lovely Christmas.

Thanks, Iliana. Yes, that last one is a treasure. I bought it over 25 years ago and while it was a bit of a splurge, I knew I had to get it. :)
DeleteI love seeing all these beautiful ornaments. There is something so delightful about thinking about the stories behind each, I believe.

ReplyDeleteLisa, since my birthday is in December, I've received A LOT of ornaments over the years. Yes, lots of memories!
DeleteOh!! I love all of these. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!! It feels so weird for it to be behind us. What a strange year.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ti! Yes, it always feels a bit odd when Christmas has come and gone, but more so this year!
