Jenclair, I miss my daughter, granddaughter and other relatives (and friends), too. But, yes, it's worth it. I'm hopeful 2021 will bring safe and healthy visits, though.
Thanks for sharing. After my grandmother told me she wanted me to come home on a Zoom call this morning, it was hard to tell her that I don't know when I'll be able to fly. She's had a hard time with holidays all year but this one will be the hardest for her.
Jen, it's so difficult for those who continue to remain distant and safe. My heart goes out to those who are alone this Christmas, including your grandmother. xo
Thanks, Laurel. It was a peaceful day, but we connected with friends and family via Zoom and the old-fashioned telephone. :) Hope yours was lovely, too.
This is such a great message and just wish people would understand. I know it's not fun being without family and friends but let's get through this pandemic first!
Iliana, I wish everyone agreed on this, but sadly there are too many who simply don't care. My heart goes out to all the doctors, nurses and first responders. :(
I do know it's worth it. I miss my daughters and their families, but sometimes we just have to accept the situations in which we find ourselves.

DeleteLoved this! Have a special Christmas Les.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane! Merry Christmas to you, too. xoxo
DeleteThank you for sharing this, Les. I read this morning about a high school boyfriend who was close to death from Covid. We really must do what we can.
ReplyDeleteOh, Deb. It really is truly frightening and I just don't understand why there are still so many who doubt that.

DeleteWe share your sentiments. Wishing you and Rod and your mom a peaceful, cozy Christmas. Here's to a much brighter 2021 for all of us!
